SERVICES

Distance is no barrier for good design. All our packages are available virtually (remotely). This approach is a practical option when design is done from a distance, while offering the same customised approach we offer in-person clients.
Best suited for people who are comfortable with online correspondence, remote clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements as well as photos or videos. While remote design requires clients to be more hands on, we provide the same high-level client experience. This option also includes access to trade pricing, purchasing and order management, and support throughout the process.

Whether you are a home owner or renter, hourly consulting is a great option for the clients who don’t need full service but would like some design direction or input to help their project along. This includes full room furnishing, styling and sourcing from retail and trade only suppliers along with non-structural design, involving specifying paint, lighting fixtures and drapery.
This option includes access to designer discounts, purchasing and management which means ordering and organising deliveries, taking the sometimes tedious tasks of delivery and coordination off your task list.

Whether you are a home owner or renter, hourly consulting is a great option for the clients who don’t need full service but would like some design direction or input to help their project along. We can provide you with services based on your specific needs at an hourly design rate.
Each project has different needs, but this option could include floor plans and space planning, selection of furniture and furniture sizing, material selections (paint, fabrics etc), problem solving and planning, shopping and vendor suggestions.
If you are redesigning your home yourself and need confidence with decision making, or are looking for concrete suggestions, this is a great option.

PROCESS
Here is an idea of the steps involved in our design process. Understanding that each project has different needs and requirements, we will always tailor the process to your project.

An initial informal meeting (free of charge!).
We will meet to understand your project needs and wants.
For larger projects, we also discuss whether you have a preferred builder and/or sub-trades.
Then we put together a design scope of work and fee proposal for you, based on this meeting.

Once the project is confirmed, the first step of the project begins: We create an initial ‘look and feel’, based on discussion around your style and preferences.
Any initial space planning will also be done during this phase.
Depending on the scope of the project, a loose selection of key finishes will be chosen, followed by a meeting with you to get your feedback and discuss the concept direction.

Once you have approved the concept, any FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment), as well as materials selections happen along with the development of design drawings and material schedules. The design drawings will consist of more detailed plans and elevations showing the design intent.
Once complete, a meeting with you will follow to get your feedback and discuss the design development.

We assist with the implementation process by handling quote requests for all products, clarifying with suppliers any details and questions related to the design, coordinating with the contractor on delivery and install dates, and handling any design changes that may be necessary.

Once all construction work is complete, we attend the final inspection with the builder.
Depending on the scope, we can also do the arrangement and final placement of furniture, art and accessories.
